Ridhu Cabs ("we", "us") is an outstation taxi service based at Natrampalli, Tirupattur, Tamil Nadu 635852. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website ridhucabs.in, by phone and on WhatsApp, and what we do with it. What we collect
When you use the booking form we collect the details you type in:
- your name, mobile number and (optionally) email address;
- pickup and drop locations, travel date and time, return date for round trips, and the car you choose;
- the fare estimate and distance shown to you;
- how you reached our website (for example Google search, a Google ad or a direct link) and the page you booked from, so that we know which of our pages and ads work.
Please note that when you press Check fare, we receive the trip details and your mobile number even if you do not go on to confirm the booking, so that our team can follow up. If you contact us on the phone or WhatsApp, we also keep the messages and the number you contacted us from. Like most websites, our hosting and WordPress systems record technical information such as your IP address, browser and pages visited.
How we use your information
- to confirm and arrange your ride, call you, and send you the driver and car details;
- to give you fare estimates and answer your questions;
- to send you a booking summary by WhatsApp or email;
- to keep records of trips, handle complaints and meet legal and tax requirements;
- to keep the website secure and working properly.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed to run your trip and our service:
- The driver assigned to your trip, who receives your name, phone number, pickup and drop;
- Service providers that help us operate: email delivery, an internal messaging channel our team uses to receive bookings, WhatsApp for booking messages, our website host, and Google Maps services that power address search and distance calculation on the booking form;
- Authorities where the law requires it.
Cookies and local storage
Our WordPress site and hosting may set essential cookies. The booking form also keeps a small counter in your browser’s local storage so that each booking on your device receives a distinct booking number. If we add analytics, it will be to understand how the site is used. You can clear cookies and site data from your browser settings at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and enquiry records for as long as they are needed for our business, accounting and legal obligations, and then delete or anonymise them.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it by emailing ridhucabs@gmail.com or calling +91 95668 00789. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you no longer want to be contacted about an enquiry, tell us and we will stop.
Security and children
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss and misuse, but no online service can be completely secure. Our services are meant for adults; we do not knowingly collect information from children.
